About Me
I’m Rawan, a product designer with 8+ years of experience leading design across consumer, startup, and enterprise environments. I specialize in crafting AI-integrated systems that scale while staying grounded in human-centered design.
My process combines systems thinking and visual craft, informed by a background in graphic design and typography. I hold a Master’s in Interaction Design from California College of the Arts, where I explored the intersection of emerging technology, social impact, and inclusive design.
I thrive at the intersection of logic and intuition, translating complex ideas into structured, human experiences that drive clarity and connection.
How I work
I design with both the system and the moment in mind, zooming out to create scalable frameworks and zooming in to refine the details that build trust, clarity, and usability.
My process is fast, iterative, and collaborative. I prototype early to align teams, uncover edge cases, and uncover ambiguity. Design, to me, is a continuous dialogue between intent and outcome, grounded in research, but adaptive as products evolve.
I believe great product design is made of a clear foundation that scales, and the flexibility to adapt with users and the business.
In practice, my core principles are:
Think in systems: Identify patterns and design frameworks that scale across flows, roles, and teams.
Design to learn: Use rapid prototyping to surface unknowns and drive early alignment.
Build clarity: Reduce friction through precise visuals, writing, and flows.
Move with context: Balance user insight, data, and business goals to guide decisions.
